1. When do you photograph your maternity clients?
As a maternity photographer, I recommend photographing mamas-to-be between 27-32 weeks to ensure comfort during your maternity photoshoot in Calgary. This timing helps avoid water retention in the third trimester. However, I’m flexible and happy to shoot as long as you feel comfortable and confident.
2. We want to hire you, what’s next?
A $200 deposit and a signed contract secure your booking for maternity photography. Once signed and paid, I’ll send you my “What to Expect” maternity guide, detailing how to prepare for your session with me, one of the trusted photographers in Calgary.
3. How many photos do we get in your package? Are there additional charges for downloading images?
Your maternity shoot photography package includes 40-60 edited, high-resolution digital images, a print release, and a private online gallery where you can order prints directly. All digital images are included in the session price, so there’s no pressure to purchase prints.
4. Do you offer closet rentals?

5. If I choose to rent from your “Client Closet” how do I make my selection?

6. Is your deposit non-refundable, even if we have to RESCHEDULE?
If you reschedule within 2 weeks of your maternity photography Calgary session, the deposit is forfeited to respect everyone’s time. I limit monthly clients to ensure quality and a creative experience. For rescheduling shortly after booking, the deposit is transferable if I have availability, within the same calendar year. A new retainer is required for changes within 2 weeks of the original date.
7. How long will it take to receive our gallery?
Your online gallery will be ready within 6 weeks after your pregnancy photography. Family and friends can access it for free viewing and downloading.
8. How do you deliver the photos?
All photographs are shot in digital format and delivered as high-resolution JPEGs in a private online gallery, perfect for sharing and downloading from your maternity shoot.
9. Do you offer adventure maternity sessions?
Absolutely! As a maternity photographer, I love Alberta’s vast landscapes and mountains. Adventure sessions, starting at $825, are available in locations like Drumheller, Banff, Canmore, Lake Louise, the Canadian Icefields, or Bowden Sunflower Maze. 10. What if it rains or snows?
Unpredictable weather is part of the job. I’ll check in 24-48 hours before your maternity photography Calgary session to confirm the location and weather. We’ll adjust plans to ensure a beautiful shoot, rain or shine.
