I can’t even tell you how much fun it was to photograph Kelsey and Cort in this bohemian themed maternity shoot. I love how the sun set’s warm colours bounced off the pink and taupe rocks, onto Kelsey’s elegant and flowy dress. Pair all that magic hour with some warm wind and a bohemian hat and the baby bump is complimented perfectly. Hope you guys love this session awn much as I did, it was seriously one of my favourite ones up to date!

I've wanted to photograph a couple, pregnant or not, at Big Rock Erratic in Okotoks for as long as I can remember. Dan and Alysha- INTIMATE BED AND BREAKFAST WINNIPEG WEDDING
Witnessing Dan and Alysha’s union was special enough, imagine being one of only 13 guests invited to attend the intimate bed and breakfast ceremony. The ceremony and reception were held in Winnipeg, Manitoba, at Alysha’s parent’s bed ad breakfast, the Columns, Alysha’s childhood home. The three story bed and breakfast was nothing short of spectacular, the perfect place for an intimate elopement, their hand written vows, and the family pooches, snuggling together around the bottom of her beautiful wedding gown. But before they said “I do” in front of their thirteen guests, we snuck off to one of Winnipeg’s hot spots, Stella’s , Bar and Grill, where the couple met and Saint Vital Park, where the couple had their first date for some intimate photos.

CHAMPAGNE ENGAGEMENT AT FISH CREEK PARK
Now that the snow is on the ground, I’m really missing the fall season we had here in Calgary and shooting with these two love birds in Fish Creek Park, to celebrate their engagement. I love engagement sessions, because they are a great way to break the “wedding day ice” when it comes to photography. In my opinion, getting engagement photos is essential in developing a relationship with your photographer, understanding how to feel comfortable in front of the camera and see how you will photograph together as a couple for your big day. After all, you only get married once, so I’d say nailing the photos is pretty important!
